Chlorox wipes, they clean adn disinfect.
The best thing I have found are Clorox or Lysol wipes.

I also really like the Clorox Anywhere. It can be used on colored surfaces, and is even safe for kids and pets.
Clorox wipes don't have clorox in them. I use them to wipe dust off my paintings. I use accrylic paint, btw.
Whoa! What medias are you using that need disinfectant? Oh, I think I caught the gist, you're a teacher?

If the surface is not wood just about any spray cleaner will do.
I'd avoid using bleach (could react with your media or discolor your working surface). Also avoid anything abrasive, even Bon Ami scratches.

If the surface is wood, I either simply dust it off or if it's knicked up--cover it with cut-to-size untempered fiberboard.
