i have a desk in my room... but its basically just filled with crap and i have no room for my laptop- which balances precariously wherever i can fit it (maybe im exaggerating, but you ge the idea). Right now, im sitting on a soft, padded desk chair, resting my feet on my bed with my laptop on my lap. But sometimes i lay on or in my bed with it... i really don't care, whatever's comfy.

normally i use an actual desk...my computer desk is quite small ^_^

Its very important to be comfortable if your going to be doing time consuming work at a computer terminal. I personally need to be looking down at my computer monitor and not have my head tilted back. I also need to be putting weight on my desk helping my back support my upper body. A good test to see if you are comfortable enough is to see if can easily fall asleep if you want to.

yes i do use my desk 24/7 i spend a lot of time on the net and i have every thing set up on my desk
ie printer laminater and the like everything is in arms reach so i dont have to move around to find reference matierial,paper or discs to burn

I have an actual computer desk at home, with a desktop computer sytem I sometimes use, but other members of the household use also.

I use my netbook computer in the kitchen table mostly though, and have a side table set up in my TV room, to use it an a desktop computer there.
